Annual weed abatement (fuel modification) is scheduled to begin around March 8, 2018. Weed abatement is trimming of non native, non irrigated plant material located on slopes. The requirement is for plant material to be trimmed 150 feet from the nearest portion of the structure (house). Park West will be performing this work and will start on Skyridge and work through the entire community with a scheduled completion date of May 15, 2018, weather permitting. Please note that rains will delay this work as the slopes may become too slippery for the crew to safely work.
The Lake Hills Fire Department will be conducting the Santa Run through the community streets. Lake Hills Maintenance East and Lake Hills Reserve will take place on December 20 and Lake Hills Maintenance West will take place on December 21. Be on the lookout for Santa. Ho, ho, ho!
