Am I allowed to remove my grass?

7/1/2015

California is suffering through a serious drought.  As a result, many homeowners are now interested in replacing water thirsty turf with drought tolerant landscape.  We are frequently asked what is required to make this change.  As with any other change that a homeowner wishes to make to the exterior of their property, homeowners are required to submit a design application and receive written approval prior to making any exterior modifications, including landscape.  Please be sure to follow all instructions on the application form.  The application can be found on the association’s website mylakehillsreserve.com under Forms entitled Architectural Request form. .  Written response is sent out following the review.
